Life Has Never Been Sweeter
What was the vision behind having The Stanford White Studio open for reservations this year for Valentine’s Day?
Well it’s just a perfect representation of everything romantic -intimate, charming, a fireplace, cozy!!
What kind of dining feeling are you hoping to evoke?
We want to be who we are every day. Great food and service. Always kind service and just dependable. We are such a special location. We don’t have to twist ourselves into knots. Just be the very best we can be.
Any big food trends you’re seeing?
A reexamination of classic old French, Italian and European dishes is winding its way into the fabric of New York City dining.
How often do you change the menu at The Lambs Club and what are your favorite menu items currently?
I am a big fan of the pastrami sandwich which takes us two weeks to make and prepare. We try to change twice a year yet keep many seasonal specials as daily occurrences.
Upcoming at The Lambs Club— will you have your annual Easter menu and live music?
You are Chairman of The Food Council and sit on The Board of City Harvest. What can you share with us about this year’s Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street on April 28th?
I am tight lipped, but it is going to be a magical evening. There will be fantastic auction prizes, delicious food and dancing. I am honored to be the chairman for the last 5 years, it is one of the best things I do that helps so many people in need. I am grateful I was chosen to be such an important part of City Harvest.
