C-CAP SET TO HOST STAR STUDDED 30TH ANNIVERSARY GRAND TASTING CELEBRATION TO SUPPORT THEIR OUTSTANDING WORK IN EMPOWERING UNDERSERVED YOUTH THROUGH THE CULINARY ARTS
THIS ULTIMATE TASTING EVENT WILL FEATURE 40 WORLD-RENOWNED RESTAURANTS IN NYC
C-CAP, a national nonprofit co-chaired by chef, author and restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson, and founded by culinary educator Richard Grausman, will host its 30TH Anniversary Grand Tasting Celebration on Tuesday, February 25 at Pier Sixty – Chelsea Piers, New York City. VIP & Red Carpet will begin at 5:45pm and Doors from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Janice Huff, (NBC Chief Meteorologist) will emcee the evening chaired by TimZagat, Co-Founder of Zagat. This year’s honorees include Richard Grausman, C-CAP’s Founder & Chair Emeritus and Chef Sarabeth Levine, world-renowned Baker & Restaurant Owner. Some Invited guests include many of New York’s local celebrities such as Steve Schirripa (Actor The Sopranos/Blue Blood), Justin Tuck (2x Super Bowl Champion), OJ Anderson (2x Super Bowl Champion), Howard Cross (NY Giants Super Bowl Champion), Erik Coleman (NFL Veteran), John Starks (Former NBA All-Star/Knicks Scout), Charles Oakley (Former NBA All-Star/Chef) and Dee-Morris (Actor/Singer/Songwriter Gotham (FOX), Shades of Blue (NBC), to name a few, will be in attendance to support and celebrate C-CAP’s three decades of outstanding work with their career readiness program connecting public high school culinary teachers and their students to the foodservice industry.

Guests will enjoy decadent signature dishes by NYC’s hottest chefs along with world-class wines by Heitz Cellar, cocktails and specialty Vodka drinks by Tito’s top mixologists. This grand tasting of culinary creations will be assisted by talented C-CAP students and alumni. Also on hand, will be an auction with once-in-a-lifetime culinary, culture and travel packages. The night will celebrate the finest in the industry and guests will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to savor the exquisite food tastes by the “hard to get into” restaurants in one night, for a great cause.
