The Surrey, one of New York City’s most iconic luxury hotels located in the posh Upper East Side neighborhood, just unveiled a redesign of their coveted private rooftop in collaboration with Dom Pérignon. Timed to the launch of the Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2006, the hotel’s exclusive rooftop has been transformed into an alluring rose garden, providing guests and The Surrey’s Patrons Club members with a chic and sophisticated oasis to enjoy rosé champagne and light bites. The rooftop is blanketed with a lush faux lawn, lined by flower beds overflowing with fragrant, flowering mint, and blooming hellebores in shades of green and white, punctuated by the sculptural spears of foxglove with beautiful pink blossoms. A black trellis adorned with twisting vines of ivy and sumptuous, deep burgundy roses bring to life the Pinot Noir of the Rosé Vintage 2006, and at the center stage radiates an intricately carved Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2006 shield lit with a romantic, dark pink glow. Luscious plants in gilded pots are paired with modern elements including gleaming bronze bistro tables and a sleek black wrap-around bar.
To celebrate the partnership, Dom Pérignon and Café Boulud at The Surrey have also created a special menu of perfect pairings with Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2005 – including foie gras terrine with pickled celery and rhubarb, a fresh Hamachi tartare featuring “tonnato verde” sauce, radishes and celtuce, and a delectable shrimp toast, a Chinese Dim Sum staple – while spirits lovers can also enjoy a selection of refreshing Moet Hennessy cocktails.
Additionally, The Surrey and Dom Pérignon will be offering the following special packages for guests:
· The #PrivatelyRosé Package – Guests who book the #PrivatelyRosé will have access to a reserved table on the hotel’s private rooftop, and will receive a bottle of Dom Pérignon’s new rosé and special pairing menu
· Dom Pérignon Guided Tasting – Guests will have the opportunity to taste the full family of Dom Pérignon’s new releases through an exclusive guided tasting with one of Dom Pérignon’s brand ambassadors and enjoy thoughtfully curated menu pairings from Daniel Boulud on the hotel’s rooftop.
