Sophie started her career at Pierre Balmain Fragrances and took over the marketing and PR department at Yves Saint Laurent in Switzerland, in the 1990s. “I’ve been working in the luxury goods and cosmetics industries for 35 years and created all the Valmont skincare products in the past 20 years,” explained Sophie.
“The biggest inspiration behind Valmont is the desire to respond to female ageing issues with original concepts and to provide them with visible results that meet their expectations,” said Sophie. Though she is definitely a boss babe, Sophie, feels like, well, Sophie! “I like to be myself because I love my job and it’s not a duty. I’m just being myself.”
Valmont, which is known for its limited edition Deto2x Cream, an oxygenating and detoxifying face cream, as well as moisturizing creams and anti-aging serums – they are, after all, made with traditional Swiss techniques in mind – has gained a cult-like following for its real results. Most recently, Valmont has introduced Palazzo Nobile and Collezione Privata, two new fragrance collections that make up the Storie Veneziane fragrance pillar of the Valmont Group.
Sophie ensured that each scent, inspired by the varying beauty of women around the world, continues to carry on Valmont’s Venetian fragrance story – after all, these fresh new fragrances were inspired Venice. These new collections – which come in chic bottles – feature distinctive compositions, design and ingredients. With six eau de toilettes of ethereal delicacy, the Palazzo Nobile collection is inspired by the emotion of memories. These light and energizing shared fragrances are reminiscent of classic compositions. Meanwhile, Collezione Privata interprets femininity with strength and charm. Comprised of three eau de parfums, these sensual fragrances feature spicy top notes complimenting a woman’s magnetic seduction.
