Known for its humanely raised chicken, Farmer Focus is now introducing organic turkeys just in time to make your Thanksgiving that much tastier.  Aside from being flavorful, their Farmer Focus Heirloom Bronze Breasted Turkey is the first USDA Organic Turkey to achieve CARE Certification. This certification takes traditional organic and humane standards a few steps further – that’s because they also include environmental and community stewardship in their rating model. You can also enjoy smaller birds for socially distanced and downsized dinners.

With an average weight of around 13 pounds, these organic and tasty turkeys are the perfect size for your holiday dinner party. Forget eating poultry with added products or ingredients – with Farmer Focus you can rest assured that each Thanksgiving bird is raised ethically raised with as little impact on the environment as possible. Plus, their sustainable practices, you can give extra thanks for being able to eat these tantalizing turkeys from Thanksgiving through Christmas, guilt-free.

When it comes to ensuring their prized poultry meets the highest standards possible, the Farmer Focus ID system allows you to trace every product back to the farm on which it was raised so that consumers can see the farmers, location and standards for themselves. All of the turkeys are raised on two farms, including Nash Hill arms by Corwin Heatwole and Round Hill Farms by the Thompson’s, third generation farmers. Each farm is responsible for the quality of their own turkey and remains committed to ensuring that each bird receives humane treatment – a delicious difference you are sure to taste on your holiday table.

“It’s important that people know where their food really comes from,” explained Farmer Focus CEO and founding farmer, Corwin Heatwole. “We believe in the higher standards we’ve set and in our partner farmers who uphold and often surpass those standards. Allowing customers to get to know these farmers and see how their poultry is raised is an important part of our business.”

Heatwole, a 6th generation farmer, has empowered and protected other farmers by partnering with independent family farmers to raise organic poultry the responsible way. Farmers are able to find a sustainable livelihood while producing turkeys that you will find flavorful and feel good about it.

With sustainable farming and responsibly raised turkeys, it’s time to rethink how we eat, especially now when it’s more important than ever to know what we’re putting in our bodies. These Shenandoah Valley Farms are proud of their product – in fact, the turkeys taste so good naturally they don’t even need any seasonings – let’s just say that you will be the winning holiday hostess.

Find your own Farmer Focus Turkey now through December nationally at Crowd Cow and exclusively at select Kroger locations, Publix, all Fresh Thyme locations, natural stores and online through FreshDirect.com. Don’t forget, the real fun is in using your turkey’s code to find out where it’s from!
